Nigatsu-do Hall

Present temple hall was reconstructed in 1669. The building is designated as the National Treasure. This is a venue of Nara's most famous early spring ritual, “Omizutori” (official name is Shuni-e) in March. The building has a unique structure to adapt special use for the Omizutori.
